Fleece Competition

Show Description

All Fleece Classes will take place on Wednesday 10 September 2025.
Shetland Fleece classes to be judged on Thursday 11 September - JUDGE: Mr A Hipwell.
Run under the auspices of The British Wool Marketing Board. All fleeces to be in place by 9.00 am and remain until 4.30pm, Judging at 10.00am. Please state breed of sheep on entry form.
The Fleeces are judged as representative of their breed and type
The Society reserves the right to merge or split classes when appropriate and to move exhibits if Judge considers they are incorrectly entered

Please note an entry in the Fleece Competition does not entitle an admission pass to the Show, however exhibitors may purchase passes at £14 instead of the normal admission rates, subject to the tickets being purchased on or before the closing date for entries. Maximum of 4 passes per exhibitor.
