Farriery

Entry Fee £35
Time Allowed: 60 Minutes
Open to all registered Farriers.
Competitors will be required to make 2 shoes:
One to be applied to the horse's foot provided made from fullered Concave steel bar.
One to be made to the judge's specifiaction from fullered Concave. Specimen provided.
Specimins will NOT be tooled and fullered.

Safety Glasses MUST be worn by all Apprentices whilst competing. Failure to do so will result in DISQUALIFICATION.
Open to 1st & 2nd Year Apprentice Farriers.
Striker must not be qualified.
Competitors will be required to make 2 shoes to the Judge's specification.

Competitors will be required to make 2 shoes:
One to be applied to the horse's foot provided made from ¾ fullered steel bar.
One to be made to the Judge's specification, Specimen provided.
A specimen shoe will also be required to the judge's specification from either flat or concave steel.

This class will be run as two separate classes - one on Wednesday and one on Thursday.
Specimen shoes for this class will be available on various websites a minimum of 4 weeks before the competition.
