Dairy Showmanship
All Calves being shown must be under 12 months of age in the Junior Class (Class 117). For all other classes, the animal must be under 24 months of age. EACH CALF SHOWN IN THE DAIRY SHOWMANSHIP JUNIOR, INTERMEDIATE AND SENIOR CLASSES MAY ONLY BE UTILISED IN ONE OF THESE THREE. Exhibitors may only enter Classes 117 to 119 with animals which have previously been entered and shown in another class within the diary section. The Veteran Handler class will not contribute to the Championship. Animals that have been used in the Junior, Intermediate or Senior Class may be used in the Veteran Handler Class. LATE ENTRIES WILL BE PERMITED. Only competitors may lead the calves in these showmanship classes - NO assistance will be allowed.

Rare and Traditional British and Native Breeds
Animals entered for this section are not eligible to compete in other sections of the show. If numbers warrant, the classes will be split into dual purpose breeds and beef breeds. Exhibitors will be notified on the Friday before the show if this is to occur. All cattle must be pure bred and registered in their respective Herd Books. (Open to the following breeds of cattle: Beef Shorthorn, Belted Galloway, British White, Chillingham, Gloucester, Irish Molled, Kerry, Lincoln Red, Longhorn, Dairy Shorthorn, Red Poll, Shetland, Traditional Hereford, Devon, Sussex, Vaynol, White Park, Welsh Black, Highland and Whitebred Shorthorn). Judging commences at 10.00am alternating with the Open Beef classes. All cattle must be penned by 8.00am.

Commercial Beef
Cattle entered into this section can NOT be entered into any breed section. Judging commences at 9.30am before the judging of the Rare Breeds and Open Beef Classes. Exhibits must be penned by 8.00am.

Beef Showmanship
Judging Commences after the beef championship. Claves being shown in the junior class (Class 168) must be under 12 months of age. For Classes 169 and 170, the calf must be under 24 months of age. Exhibitors may only enter Classes 168 - 170 with animals which have previously been entered and shown in another class within the beef section of the show, including commercial beef or as a calf-at-foot with a mature beef exhibit. Late entries will be permitted. Each animal can only be shown in ONE of the three Showmanship classes (168 - 170). Only competitors may lead the calves in these classes - no assistance will be allowed.
