Pigs

Show Description

Please read the rules at the front of the schedule. Also:
i. Please state number of pens required on your entry form.
ii. The ages of all animals must be reckoned to 5th May 2025 unless otherwise stated.
iii. Date of birth of all livestock in the pig classes must be stated on the entry form.
iv. Classes may be amalgamated if insufficient entries in any section of the schedule. Classes with 8 or more entries will have a 4th prize of £5.00.
v. Straw will not be available on site. Please bring your own.
vi. Pigs for group classes can be selected on the showground but exhibitors must make the entry on the entry form and pay the £5.00 entry fee.
vii. If three or more exhibitors of the same breed are in any one class, these will be judged as a separate breed.

The Show is a Qualifier for the Oxford Sandy and Black Champion of Champions Competition, the final which is to be held at the Newbury Show on Sunday 21st September 2025. The Society will provide a rosette for the highest placed Oxford Sandy & Black as well as a Champion of Champions qualifying rosette for the best pig to be put forward to the final at Newbury. If the highest placed pig has already qualified at another show, then the second placed pig may be awarded the rosette to qualify in its place. This competition is for OSB Pig Society members
