Bake and Cake
BAKE AND CAKE COMPETITION

PICNICS are a traditional culinary delight and with this in mind we are basing some of our classes around a picnic. Many of our visitors to the Show enjoy a quiet picnic in the Forestry area of the Showground, or make a day out in the New Forest even more enjoyable with a lovely picnic. Let us showcase a few of the delights to be enjoyed with our entries in the Bake and Cake Competition 2025.

We look forward to receiving your entries for this fun competition.

Produce should be delivered to the Showground on Monday 28th July between 8.30 am and 1.00 pm. If you work and would like to drop off earlier on 28th please contact Jenny jenny@newforestshow.co.uk to arrange.
Entries will be judged and winners will be revealed on Tuesday 29th July.

Points awarded through the competition will go toward the following:

THE DOBSON CHALLENGE TROPHY – AWARDED TO THE EXHIBITOR GAINING MOST POINTS IN THE SHOW
FIRST PLACE – 30 Points SECOND PLACE – 20 points THIRD PLACE – 10 points

And the Judges will award

THE WESSEX TROPHY – TO THE BEST EXHIBIT IN SHOW
