Show Description

Closing date for all homecraft entries will be Wednesday 6th August 2025.

2025 Prize money (except where stated): First prize £5, Second prize £3, Third prize £2.
Entry Fee: £1 inc VAT/entry (except where stated)

A DROP OFF facility will be available beside the Homecraft Marquee for those with large exhibits (weather permitting). This area is not for parking and will not be available after 7.30am on Saturday 6th September. Car Passes will be issued for dropping off of entries and these will permit access through the Showground Gate 1 on Friday 5th September. On Saturday 6th September those with the Drop Off Vehicle Passes will be directed to Gate 4. PLEASE NOTE: a ticket will be required to drop off an entry on the morning of Saturday 6th September - no ticket, no entry to drop off.

Collection of exhibits: Removal is only permitted after 4.30pm on Sunday 7th September. The Homecraft marquee will close for collection at 6.30pm. Vehicle movement to the Marquee is not permitted until 6pm. Any non-perishable exhibits not collected by 6.30pm on Sunday 8th September will be held in the Show Office on the Showground until Wednesday 10th September, after this date all exhibits will be disposed of.

Presentation of awards: A presentation of awards will take place in the Homecraft Marquee on Sunday 7th September 2024 at 4.00pm

Complimentary Show Ticket: One Show Ticket will be sent to adult exhibitors who make entries to the value of £14.00 or more in the combined Homecraft & Horticultural Section. These will be dispatched with confirmation of entries after the closing date.
