All Clydesdales which are shod must be within the guidelines of the Clydesdale Horse Society.
The Cumberland Agricultural Society Heavy Horse Championship will be judged at the end of the section in the Main Ring. A Champion and Reserve will be judged from the 1st and 2nd prize winners in each class. The section Champion must go forward to the Parade of Champions.

The class will be under rules of RoR. All those entering horses and/or participating in the show agree to be bound by the Retraining of Racehorses Rules and Regulations from time to time in force. To take part in this class, horses must NOT have won a ridden open class under any affiliated showing society (inc. SEIB/HOYS, BSHA, SHB(GB) BSPS, BSPA, Tattersalls RoR Open Show Series Qualifier, TARRA Ridden, RoR AMATEUR Ridden Show Series Qualifier or any other open class except Tattersalls (TBA) RoR Challenge Show Series or other Working Hunter type classes. The class will be run under the rules of RoR. Horses to be ridden by the judge. All those entering horses and/or participating in the show agree to be bound by the Retraining of Racehorses Rules and Regulations from time to time in force. Competitors/handlers/grooms must wear a safety/kite mark hard hat with a chinstrap. Racing injuries and blemishes will NOT be ignored in this series. Horse & Country Racing (HCR) – The Horse & Country Racehorse Series - The Horse & Country Racehorse series is open to Thoroughbreds who have raced, trained or been bred to race. The judge will not ride and you will be not asked to gallop as a ride but maybe asked to gallop in your individual show.

This is a qualifying show for the BRITISH ARABIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS 2022 (Affiliation 200120) to be held at Weston Lawns on 3rd September 2022. Qualification for the BRITISH ARABIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS is via Gold Card, which are awarded to 1st & 2nd prize winners in Arab Horse Society Affiliated Classes. Completed Gold Cards should be returned within 10 days of the qualifying show with a cheque for £15 or return the Card before 20th August with a cheque for £30. Cheques should be payable to The Arab Horse Society. Return completed to Arab Horse Society, Charnham Lane, Hungerford RG17 0EY.
The British Arabian Championships has Classes for both in hand and ridden Purebred and Part bred Arabians - expanded Part bred sections (5 height classes) - Amateur Section - Centenary Performance Classes. Once a horse or pony has qualified for the 2022 Championships they may enter any of the classes at the show. The Arab Horse Society awards rosettes to all Class Winners and Best Geldings Pure Bred Classes. Classes 59-60 are qualifiers for the NPS/Mole Valley Farmers Part Bred In Hand National Championship. Class 61 is a qualifier for the NPS/Mole Valley Farmers Part Bred Ridden National Championship.
The Cumberland Agricultural Society Arab Champions Pure & Part Bred Champions are expected to compete in the Supreme Horse Championship judged at the conclusion of the respective rings.

TGCA TOYS In hand & ridden classes - Affiliation Number 20/1306/STQ No known breeding required to enter these classes TGCA Breed classes are qualifiers for the Best of Breed Finals at the Traditional Gypsy Cob Association's (TGCA) National Breed Championship Show “TOYS”. Classes are open to all traditional gypsy cobs. Part Bred classes, are open to all part bred traditional gypsy cobs and are qualifiers for the part bred finals at “TOYS”. The exhibit must have one parent that is bred traditional gypsy cob. Stallions – All stallions (four years and over) in order to enter any TGCA affiliated class MUST be TGCA registered, have passed TGCA stallion evaluations and their TGCA stallion disc displayed on their bridle. Stallions and colts over the age of two, MUST be shown in a stallion bridle with a metal bit and chain lead as per the current TGCA rulebook. Current TGCA members must present their Membership card and Qualification card to the judge in the ring for signature. Non-members MUST receive a qualification card from the judge and have 21 days to join the TGCA and register their horse to validate the qualification. Championships Quest for a Star Championship - TGC - 1st, 2nd and 3rd from the TGCA classes above may go forward to the Quest for a Star Championship as per below rule. Open to members and pre-registered non-members, 15 yrs and over, eligible under Rising Star Amateur rules.

QUALIFIERS FOR FINALS AT LONDON INTERNATIONAL HORSE SHOW
The following classes are qualifiers for the London International Horse Show and this Show is affiliated to the British Show Pony Society (BSPS) and the British Show Horse Association (BSHA) and all persons entering, competing, showing or otherwise taking part in these Classes whether or not members of either society are subject to the Rules of each society including the isciplinary procedures and shall be deemed to have consented to their jurisdiction..
