Holstein UK Dress Code Preferred.
Small classes may be amalgamated on the day, at the discretion of the steward.
Exhibitor Bred Champion to be judged prior to Breed Champion. Definition of exhibitor bred: An animal is defined as “Exhibitor bred” if it is born in the UK and carries the owner’s prefix. This includes animals born as a result of embryo transplant. An animal in joint ownership qualifies as exhibitor bred providing it has been jointly entered and one of the joint owners is the breeder.
£75 PRIZE presented by Border & Lakeland Holstein Club is awarded to the Champion Holstein.
£25 PRIZE presented by Border & Lakeland Holstein Club is awarded to the Reserve Champion Holstein.

The overall winner between the Junior Dairy Showmanship Champion and HYB Handler Champion (Class 164) will qualify for the above Championship to be held at the Hesket Newmarket Show.
Winner must be 18 or under, and the animal to be 12 months or under on Show Day.
Handlers are not permitted to enter Classes 183 . 184 and 185 Junior Showmanship.

An animal which has been used as an embryo transfer donor cannot be shown until she has produced a calf by natural birth within the last 15 months.

North West Limousin Cattle Breeders Association 2024 Heifer and Bull Derby. The Overall Winner will also receive the TOMMY HOLLIDAY MEMORIAL TROPHY kindly presented by Mrs Barbara Holliday. All heifers to be born on or after 31.07.22, all bulls to be born on or after 01.01.23 home bred and owned by exhibitor. Herd book numbers will be checked. The exhibitor must be a member of the North West Limousin Cattle Breeders Association. The final will be held at the Westmorland County Show in September and will be strictly policed. No prize money will be given at the qualifying Show, only rosettes.
